The provincial election will be held two days later. Actually, I am thrilled as much as a candidate would. It is because this election is an important election to decide whether Gyeongnam will return to the past or proceed to the future. It is an election to choose who can save the economy of Gyeongnam. In order to overcome the current crisis in Gyeongsangnam-do, it is a desperate state of mind in which cooperation of the central government is very urgent, not just the strength of Gyeongsangnam-do alone. The candidate for Governor of Gyeongnam Province, Kim Kyung-Soo, who is here, is the party that designed the administration of Moon Jae-in together. He is the candidate who penetrates the map of the Korean Peninsula's new economy of President Moon Jae-in. This kind of Candidate Kim Kyung-Soo promised a map of the New Economy of Gyeongnam to completely change the framework of Gyeongnam province's economy. Doesn't it sound wonderful? And North Korea-United States summit will be held to determine the fate of the Korean peninsula. The meeting between North Korea and U.S. leaders is taking place for the very first time in history. With the meeting between the two leaders, we can say that considerable progress has been made in bilateral relations, which had been hostile for more than 70 years. The success of North Korea-United States summit will be a major turning point in the history of the new Korean peninsula. 지방선거가 이틀 앞으로 다가왔다. 사실 후보만큼 저도 가슴이 두근거린다. 이번 선거는 경남이 과거로 돌아갈 것인지, 아니면 미래로 나아갈 것인지 결정하는 중요한 선거이기 때문이다. 위기의 경남 경제를 누가 살릴 수 있을지 선택하는 선거다. 현재 경남의 위기를 극복하기 위해선 경남 혼자만의 힘이 아닌 중앙정부의 협력이 너무나 절실한 상태다. 여기 있는 경남도지사 후보, 김경수 후보는 문재인정부의 국정을 함께 설계한 당사자다. 문재인 대통령의 한반도신경제지도를 훤하게 꿰뚫고 있는 후보다. 이런 김경수 후보가 경남경제의 틀을 완벽하게 바꿀 경남 신경제지도를 공약으로 내놓았다. 멋지지 않은가. 박수 한 번 보내주시기 바란다.

그리고 한반도의 운명을 결정지을 북미정상회담이 개최된다. 북미정상 간의 만남은 역사상 처음 이루어지는 것이다. 두 정상의 만남만으로도 70여 년간 적대적 관계였던 양국관계가 상당한 진전을 이룬 것이라 할 것이다. 이번 북미회담의 성공은 그야말로 새로운 한반도 역사의 대전환점이 될 것이다. 한반도 비핵화와 평화의 시대를 열어가도록, 역사적인 북미정상회담을 국민 여러분과 함께 지켜보겠다. 많이 응원해 주길 바란다.
