Liberty Korea Party, coming to haunt the Moon Jae-In Administration”    ■ Party Chairperson Mi-Ae Choo   Cherry blossoms have been blooming in the rain during the weekend, but the April Parliament hasn’t been open for a week. The urgent task of national affairs is delayed while there are mountains of work to do including supplementary budget for youth employment and employment crisis zone as well as the revising of the National Voting Act and the drafting of the Constitutional Amendment of the National Assembly. According to the Secretariat of the National Assembly, about 9,000 new legislation is still before the National Assembly. Many of these are the public welfare bills. I would say the National Assembly’s duty dereliction is at a very serious level. The first reason for this situation is the irresponsible attitude of the leadership of the first opposition party, and the second is due to imperial House Judiciary Committee Chairman of the National Assembly belonging to the same party. It will be nothing more than haunting the Moon Jae-In Administration where Liberty Korea Party is pushing the National Assembly to this point. It is the National Assembly if the President, who is getting overwhelming support from the people, allows him to work. If it does not work and merely haunts the government, it will be called ‘national harm’ which harms the people and the country irrelevant to popular sentiment. As long as he thinks of the parliamentary debacle to be the virtue of the opposition party, the power seizure of Liberty Korea Party will be farther away, and the cane of the people will be even stronger. Everything has a time, and it is effective to meet time well. The recruitment of youth employment, the revision of the National Voting Act, and the preparation of proposals for Constitutional Amendment are cherry blossom tasks that must be handled this April when cherry blossoms. It is urgent to resolve a serious youth unemployment crisis more seriously than during the financial crisis and to immediately correct the right of suffrage for overseas Koreans who have been unconstitutional for more than two years. I earnestly hope that the opposition party will listen to the people so that they can make consensus for the simultaneous Constitutional Amendment in June. Today, I will wait for the Special Committee for Constitutional Amendment to enter into a full-scale consultation based on the constitutional amendment proposal of each party. We urge the opposition party to have a change in its forward-looking attitude once more.

"국회 직무유기 심각…한국당, 文정부 발목잡기"   ■ 추미애 대표   주말사이 빗속에서도 벚꽃이 만발했지만 , 4 월 국회는 일주일째 열리지 못하고 있다 . 청년 일자리 및 위기지역 추경을 비롯해 국민투표법 개정과 국회의 개헌안 도출까지 할 일이 태산 같은데 이런 시급한 국정과제들이 지체되고 있다 . 국회사무처 통계에 따르면 현재 제 20 대 국회에는 약 9 천 건의 법안이 계류되어 있다고 한다 . 이 중 상당수는 민생법안이다 . 국회의 직무유기가 매우 심각한 수준이라 할 것이다 . 이런 사태의 첫 번째 이유는 제 1 야당 지도부의 무책임한 태도이고 , 두 번째는 같은 당 소속의 제왕적 국회 법사위원장 때문이기도 하다 . 자유한국당이 국회를 이 지경까지 몰고 가는 것은 문재인정부에 대한 발목잡기 그 이상도 이하도 아닐 것이다 . 국민의 압도적 지지를 받고 있는 대통령이 일을 하게 해줘야 국회이지 , 일은 안하고 발목만 잡는다면 민심과 동떨어진 국민과 국가에 해악을 끼치는 ‘국해 (國害 )’라 할 것이다 . 국회 파행이 마치 야당의 덕목인 것처럼 생각하는 한 , 자유한국당의 집권은 더욱 멀어질 것이고 , 국민의 회초리는 더욱 세질 것이다 . 모든 것은 때가 있고 , 때를 잘 만나야 효과도 있는 것이다 . 청년 일자리 추경과 국민투표법 개정 , 개헌안 마련은 벚꽃 피는 이번 4 월에 처리해야 하는 벚꽃 과제이다 . 외환위기 때보다 심각한 청년 실업대란을 시급히 해소하고 , 2 년 넘게 위헌 상태인 재외국민 참정권을 조속히 바로잡아야 한다 . 진심으로 6 월 동시 개헌을 위해 합의점을 만들어 가도록 야당은 국민의 소리를 들어주시기 바란다 . 오늘 헌정특위가 각 당의 개헌안을 바탕으로 본격적인 협의에 들어간다고 하니 기다려 보겠다 . 야당의 전향적인 태도 변화를 다시 한 번 촉구한다 .
