"Hong Joon-pyo who says he will expel anyone if he participates in the Constitutional amendment vote, shows a fascist idea"

  Why should it be "June Constitutional amendment"? The reason is clear. It is because the people want so and the political circle made a promise to the people. Democratic Party has been the first to adopt the party platform since the June Constitutional amendment is a promise to the people and it has put in its best efforts to prepare the bill for Constitutional amendment according to public sentiment more than anyone. This Constitutional amendment is the starting point for a new Republic of Korea by completing the candlelight revolution with a new Constitutional amendment of sovereignty, decentralization, and public welfare. The National Assembly and the political circle have thrown in questions toward the government that could not keep the safety and life of the people, such as "Is this a country?" and "What is the nation?." Toward such fundamental question of the people, we have the responsibility to answer with Constitutional amendment. If the opposition parties are enthusiastic about focusing on this Constitutional amendment for boycotts, they should engrave in their minds that they will be even more distant from the public sentiment. Even Party Chairperson Hong Joon-pyo does not hesitate to intimidate with the fact that he is 'going to expel a member who participates in the voting.' We can say he is a royal representative who has never been seen or heard. I cannot help but say that it is a fascist threat that denies parliamentary democracy to the front by using the leading opposition party's big seats. The President's proposal of Constitutional amendment is authority guaranteed by the Constitution.The attitude of the National Assembly to abandon the Constitutional initiative itself and not allow the president to do so is a difficult strategic attitude that no one could accept.There cannot be the ruling and the opposition parties in the Constitutional amendment in 30 years, nor progressives or conservatives. Again, I strongly urge the opposition parties to take a proactive stance. President Moon Jae-in is planned to travel to Vietnam and UAE on a 5 night, 7 day schedule starting from tomorrow. Through this trip, he plans to establish an all-round cooperative relationship with Vietnam and the UAE, and conclude an MOU to actively cooperate in building future infrastructures. Moon Jae-in administration introduced the idea of ??the "New Economy Map of the Korean Peninsula" in advance. If we draw a clearer picture of the 'new economy map of the Korean peninsula' through this visit, it will be of great help to improve the inter-Korean relations and open up the economic path. Now that the inter-Korean and North Korea-U.S. summits for peace on the Korean Peninsula are being prepared, President Moon Jae-in has the meaning of signing up for economic diplomacy once again. We expect to dramatically improve our relations with the key nations of Southeast Asia and the Middle East and draw future-oriented agreements. Democratic Party cheers with all of the people that the excellent negotiating ability of President Moon Jae-in will be shown not only in security diplomacy, but also in economic diplomacy.

"개헌표결 참여하면 제명한다는 홍준표, 파시스트 발상"
  ■ 추미애 대표 왜 '6 월 개헌’이어야 하는가, 그 이유는 분명하다 . 국민이 바라고, 또 정치권이 국민께 드린 약속이기 때문이다. 민주당은 6 월 개헌이 국민과의 약속이기에 당론도 가장 먼저 채택했고, 그 누구보다 민심에 따라 개헌안을 마련하는데 주력해 왔다. 이번 개헌은 주권개헌, 분권개헌, 민생개헌으로 촛불혁명을 완결시켜 새로운 대한민국으로 나아가는 시발점이다. 국회와 정치권은 국민의 안전과 생명마저 제대로 지키지 못했던 정부를 향해 ‘이게 나라냐’, ‘국가란 무엇인가’ 라는 질문을 던졌고, 이런 국민의 근본적인 질문에 우리는 개헌으로 답해야 할 의무가 있다 .  야당이 자신들의 존재감을 위해 이런 개헌을 보이콧에만 열중한다면 그럴수록 민심과는 점점 더 멀어지게 된다는 점을 깊이 새겨야 할 것이다. 심지어 홍준표 대표는 ‘표결에 참여하는 의원을 제명하겠다’는 협박도 서슴지 않고 있다. 그야말로 역대 듣도 보도 못한 제왕적 대표라 할 것이다. 제 1 야당의 거대의석을 방패삼아서 의회민주주의를 정면으로 부정하는 파시스트적인 협박이라 하지 않을 수가 없다.   대통령의 개헌발의는 헌법에 명백하게 보장된 권한이다. 국회가 개헌발의권을 스스로 포기하고 있으면서 대통령도 하지 말라는 식의 태도는 그 어떤 국민도 수긍하기가 어려운 정략적인 태도라 할 것이다.30 년 만의 개헌에 여야가 있을 수 없고, 진보와 보수가 있을 수 없다. 다시 한 번 야당들의 전향적인 태도를 강력히 촉구한다. 문재인 대통령이 내일부터 5 박 7 일간의 일정으로 베트남과 UAE 순방길에 오를 예정이다 . 이번 순방을 통해 베트남, UAE 와 전방위적인 협력관계를 구축하고, 미래 인프라 구축에 적극 협력한다는 MOU 도 체결할 계획이다. 문재인 정부는 일찍이 ‘한반도 신경제지도’ 구상을 내놓은 바 있다. 이번 순방으로 ‘한반도 신경제지도’를 더욱 선명하게 그려간다면 남북관계 개선과 함께 경제 활로를 여는데 큰 도움이 될 것이다. 한반도 평화를 위한 남북과 북미 정상회담이 차분히 준비되고 있는 지금, 문재인 대통령은 또다시 경제외교의 시동을 거는 의미가 담겨 있다. 동남아와 중동의 핵심거점 국가들과의 관계를 획기적으로 개선시키고 미래지향적 합의를 도출해 내리라 기대한다. 더불어민주당은 문재인 대통령의 뛰어난 협상능력이 안보외교뿐만 아니라, 경제외교에서도 발휘되기를 온 국민과 함께 성원한다.
