■ 한미 양국 간 지속적인 협력을 기대하며, 한미동맹의 다음 장을 열어나가기를 고대합니다 

더불어민주당은 도널드 트럼프 미국 제47대 대통령 취임을 진심으로 축하합니다. 

수십년 동안 한미동맹은 굳건한 협력, 상호 방위, 그리고 공동 번영의 관계로 이어져 왔습니다. 우리의 동맹은 지역의 평화와 안정을 위한 초석이며, 변치 않는 우정을 상징합니다. 우리는 함께 전세계적 도전에 맞서며 자유와 민주주의의 가치를 지켜왔습니다. 

우리는 이러한 철통같은 동맹이 지속적으로 번영할 것이라고 확신합니다. 대한민국과 미국은 양국의 안전과 번영을 위해 서로 손을 맞잡고 협력해 나갈 것입니다. 우리는 이러한 동맹을 한층 강화하기 위한 약속을 변함없이 지킬 것이며, 새로운 도전에 대응하고 발전과 협력을 위한 새로운 기회를 찾기 위해 노력할 것입니다.

We are confident that our ironclad alliance will continue to thrive. The Republic of Korea and the United States will work hand in hand to ensure the security and prosperity of both our nations. Our commitment to deepening this alliance remains unwavering, as we seek to address emerging challenges and seize new opportunities for growth and cooperation. 

We very much look forward to our continued collaboration and to the next chapter of our enduring alliance. The bond between the Republic of Korea and the United States will remain strong, and our alliance will flourish for years to come.
