Achieving ‘the approval of the Pope’s visit to North Korea and publicizing sanctions against North Korea’

  President Moon Jae-in returned to the country yesterday after finishing his tour in Europe. By visiting France, Italy, the Vatican, Belgium, and Denmark, it contributed to leading the international community's support for peace on the Korean peninsula. I think it has great meanings that they shared a good opinion about having approval of the visit to North Korea in meeting Pope Francis. Pope Francis gave the president encouraging words, "Do not stop, but go forward. "Do not be afraid." It is the voice that gave a great resonance to people all over the world who long for peace.   

'교황 방북 수락·대북제재 공론화' 성과   □ 이해찬 대표 문재인 대통령이 유럽순방을 마치고 어제 귀국했다 . 프랑스 , 이탈리아 , 교황청 , 벨기에 , 덴마크 방문을 통해 한반도 평화에 대한 국제사회의 지지를 이끄는데 크게 기여했다 . 특히 프란치스코 교황을 만나서는 방북을 수락하는 의견을 잘 나눈 점이 아주 큰 의미라 생각한다 . 프란체스코 교황께서는 문재인 대통령에게 ‘멈추지 말고 앞으로 나가시라 . 두려워 마시라 .’는 격려의 말씀을 주셨다 . 평화를 간절히 바라는 전세계인에 큰 울림을 준 목소리다 .
