The situation is that the trial of impeachment of the President shall pass February. I am sorry to say that the decision of the Court did not come up to the expectations of citizens who wished for the end of this wearisome situation. The President kept on having obvious full range of delaying operations. She had a press conference when her duties are stopped and instigated open-air meeting by those advocating President Park by having public opinion through interviews on the Internet and TV.

Yesterday, the Court chose witnesses more than necessary and thus brought about a result of actually overlooking the delaying tactics of the President. If she does not attend within 5 times of remaining dates for trial, the court cannot put room for the trick that park will attend. If the President doesn’t show up until February 22, there is no need for the President’s attendance.

The public opinion in favor of impeachment by the citizens for 3 months (December~February) since the approval or impeachment maintains 78% and keeps increasing. While the candles at the Plaza might have temporarily decreased, the Court should keep in mind that the public opinion of impeachment does not waver.

Our Party will continue a full-fledged fight with citizens that urges for early impeachment and extension of Special Prosecution since February 11. In the future, we will urge for completion of early impeachment and extension of Special Prosecution by holding a conference of representatives from three opposition parties. Hwang Gyo Ahn acting as a proxy disapproved seizure and search of the Blue House making a quick response. Citizens disasppointed at Hwang are worrying that he might refuse the extension of Special Prosecution investigation period. We do not know his purpose; however, he should keep in mind that any purpose may be no more than a dream if it goes against the public will.

Saenuri Party is heard to have been turned down while begging for defection of the President from the Party. Although it changes the party name and logo, it should realize that any citizen would not care for nor have any expectations. The Party intends to continue punishment of the President after seeing the trial result of the Court. Saenuri Party should perform its minimum duty as a party that earns citizens’ tax as a measure for defecting the President from the Party.

대통령 탄핵심판이 사실상 2월을 넘겨야 하는 상황이 됐다. 지긋지긋한 상황이 끝나기를 바랐던 국민적 기대를 저버린 헌재의 결정을 대단히 유감스럽게 생각한다. 대통령 측은 그동안 노골적으로 전방위적인 지연작전을 펼쳐왔다. 대통령은 직무가 정지된 상태에서 기자간담회를 하고, 인터넷TV 인터뷰를 통해 여론전을 펼치며 친박세력의 장외집회를 선동해왔다.

어제는 헌재가 필요 이상의 대거의 증인을 채택함으로써 대통령 측의 지연전술을 사실상 묵인하는 결과를 초래하고 말았다. 대통령이 앞으로 5회의 남은 심리기일 안에 출석하지 않는다면, 헌재가 더 이상 출석하겠다는 꼼수에 대해서 여지를 두면 안 될 것이다. 2월 22일까지 대통령이 나오지 않는다면 대통령의 출석 필요는 없는 것으로 보인다.

국회에서 탄핵이 가결된 12월부터 2월까지 무려 석 달 동안 국민의 탄핵 찬성 여론은 꾸준히 78%대를 유지하고 있고, 계속 상승하는 중이다. 광장의 촛불이 일시적으로 줄었는지는 몰라도 탄핵 민심은 한 치도 흔들리지 않고 있다는 점을 헌재는 명심 또 명심해야 한다.

우리 당은 오는 11일을 기점으로 조기탄핵과 특검연장을 촉구하는 총력투쟁을 국민과 함께 전개해 나갈 것이다. 앞으로 야3당 대표 회담을 열어 조기탄핵 완수와 특검연장을 촉구해 나갈 것이다. 황교안 대행은 맞장구라도 치듯 청와대 압수수색을 불허했다. 황 대행에 실망한 국민들은 이제 황 대행이 특검수사기간 연장도 거부하지 않을까하는 우려를 하고 있다. 황 대행의 꿈이 무엇인지는 모르겠지만 민심을 거스른다면 어떤 꿈도 일장춘몽에 불과하다는 점을 명심하기 바란다.

새누리당이 박근혜 대통령의 탈당을 구걸하다가 퇴짜를 맞았다고 한다. 당명을 바꾸고 로고를 바꾼다고 해도 더 이상 그 어떤 국민도 관심과 기대를 갖지 않는 이유가 무엇인지 똑바로 깨달아야 한다. 새누리당은 헌재의 심판결과를 보고 대통령에 대한 징계를 진행하겠다고 한다. 새누리당은 지금이라도 박 대통령에 대한 출당조치로 국민세금을 받는 공당으로서의 최소한의 책무는 해주기 바란다.
